I don't mean to be redundant, but I say again that Annie is (I don't like past tense when referring to close friends) one of the sweetest and nicest people I have ever known. I first met Annie in the second grade, and, like most boys at the school, had a crush on her that lasted through high school. She was also my neighbor, and I remember her kind parents, too. After losing contact for several years after high school (she moved to Las Vegas), we reconnected in 2007. I would say renewing my friendship with Annie was clearly one of the best things that ever happened to me. To the end, she remained a kind, sweet, and sensitive person - and an outstanding friend. I feel blessed to have been her friend. I will miss her with great sadness. God bless all you nice people who also loved Annie.
